Kudos to Japan

Kudos to Japan

Common sense is a big part of how we learn. It's used in all areas of study. For example, when prices go up, people usually buy less of a product. But this doesn't apply to essentials like food, fuel, and other necessities. Both the general rule and the exception are based on common sense. The exception is known as the Giffen goods theory.

Sometimes, practices in different countries might seem unusual but make sense when understood. For instance, in Japan, people avoid buying expensive food when the supply is low and prices are high. This way, they help control prices. When the supply increases, they start buying again. This practice shows concern for fellow citizens and is unique to Japan. It's a logical idea that could be adopted worldwide. Kudos to Japan!
