Social Animal

Social Animal – No Binoculars Required

Man might be a social animal, but sometimes that animal needs a bit more social sense. Picture this: you’re at the temple, and the priest is sharing the fascinating history of the place. Just as you’re getting into it, a group of devotees suddenly starts chanting Govinda, Govinda at the top of their lungs. Instead of learning something new, you’re left with ringing ears and a missed lesson. They’re too caught up in the moment to realize that not everyone is there for the loudspeaker experience.

Now, let’s stroll down Venkatanarayana Road at T. Nagar. You’re hoping for a quick glimpse of HIM at the TTD, and everyone around—bus drivers, auto-wallahs, and the guy in the median—pauses briefly for their darshan. But just when you finally get a clear view, someone blocks your sight, raising their hand and staying there forever, like they own the spot. It’s moments like these that make you wish everyone had just a little more social sense so we could all enjoy our divine moments—no binoculars required!
