Suggestion and Opinion
Though suggestion and opinion are used interchangeably to express ones ideas, thoughts and experiences, there are certain similarities and differences. Let’s see the brittle and wide differences between the two.
A suggestion is like giving advice or proposing a solution to a problem. It aims to guide actions or decisions, offering a practical way forward. For example, suggesting someone to study more to improve their grades is giving them advice on how to achieve better results.
Opinion is a personal viewpoint or belief about something. It doesn't necessarily propose a specific action but rather shares how someone feels or thinks about a topic. For instance, saying "I think the movie was great" expresses a personal judgment without suggesting what others should do.
While both suggestion and opinion are based on personal viewpoints, reflecting individual perspectives, yet they differ in their intent and how they are communicated in conversation.
