Pass = Successful
The term "pass" is no longer used. CA results were recently released, and one candidate joyfully shared his results, noting that while he did not pass, he was still deemed a successful candidate. This change is due to a new, more diplomatic expression used on mark sheets: those who didn't pass are labeled as "unsuccessful," while those who did are labeled as "successful."
As a result, he referred to himself as a "successful candidate of CA Final," even though he did not pass. This is a welcome diplomatic change in the presentation of CA mark sheets starting from the May 2024 exams. A failure is now termed as "unsuccessful," and a pass is termed as "successful."
For candidates who are currently unsuccessful, their pass is merely paused or their success delayed, but not denied. With well-planned study and the new schemes available, they will eventually achieve success. Best of luck to all the CA students taking the September Inter and November Final exams.
